Skin & Soft tissue tumors
Tumors involving the skin and soft tissue anywhere in the body is amenable to excision. The resultant defect in the affected part can then be reconstructed using the techniques of plastic surgery
Large tumors
Tumors that are large or recurrent usually lead to large, complex defects that require transfer of regional tissue called 'flaps'
Head & Neck cancers
Cancers of the head and neck region are very common in our country. Removal of the cancer by the head and neck surgeon gives rise to a defect that has to be reconstructed in order to restore normal essential functions such as eating and speech.
