Training & Career Progression
Dr Kanoi graduated with honours from the University of Calcutta in 2006, to embark upon his surgical career. After three years of training in General Surgery at Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata, and an additional year of basic training in Plastic Surgery as Senior Registrar at CMRI, Kolkata, he received his postdoctoral training (M.Ch) in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from the prestigious Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (IPGMER), Kolkata.
Following this, Dr Kanoi trained extensively at various national and international institutions under eminent faculty to upgrade his skills and knowledge. Notably, he underwent a one year highly coveted fellowship in plastic surgery at Tata Medical Center, Kolkata.
In an effort to offer his patients the most current treatment in Plastic Surgery, Dr Kanoi further underwent a two years rigorous training programme conducted by the University of Barcelona, Spain (Universität Autonoma De Barcelona) under the aegis of 'European School of Reconstructive Microsurgery'. Furthermore, He also underwent training in the renowned Guys & St. Thomas' hospital in London, UK
